The Dilemmas and Countermeasures Faced by Large-scale Dairy Goat Farms

Abstract: Driven by both policy support and market demand,China's dairy goat industry has developed rapidly,and large-scale breeding has become the core direction of industrial transformation and upgrading. However,current large-scale dairy goat farms still face many prominent dilemmas in the development process. Based on the development status of large-scale dairy goat breeding,this paper systematically analyzed the existing problems in six core areas,including infrastructure construction,germplasm resource cultivation,on-site breeding management,advanced technology application,professional talent reserve,and input-output efficiency. Combined with advanced domestic and foreign breeding experience and the actual situation of China's industry,it put forward practical and feasible solutions such as optimizing sheep house environment,strengthening fine breed breeding,enhancing talent training,promoting technology transformation,improving management mechanisms,and building a collaborative development model. This study provided theoretical reference and practical support for promoting the efficient and healthy operation of large-scale dairy goat farms and boosting the high-quality development of the dairy goat industry.
