Epidemic Characteristics and Comprehensive Prevention and Control of Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis

Abstract: With the development and growth of the dairy cattle industry,viral respiratory diseases in cattle continue to occur,and the difficulty of prevention and control is increasing.The incidence rate and mortality of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis in China's agricultural and pastoral areas are gradually rising,which has caused significant economic losses to dairy farmers.This article summarized the etiology, epidemiology,clinical manifestations, laboratory diagnosis,and other aspects of the disease,and proposed that we should strengthen the level of breeding management,strictly implement quarantine at the place of origin,do a good job in slaughtering according to laws and regulations,standardize the transportation and introduction of species,and attach importance to the construction of biosecurity system. It is hoped that this article can provide reference for better prevention and control of bovine infectious rhinotracheitis and increase the economic benefits of pastures.
