Effect of Probiotics on Milk Yield,Milk Composition and Rumenmicrobiota of Dairy Cows

Abstract: Adequate supply of high quality milk needs to be based on the healthy breeding of dairy cows.The addition of probiotics to dairy cattle feed has a positive effect on milk yield,nutrient composition of milk and the microecological environment of the rumen,which can increase the content of beneficial microorganisms in the rumen of dairy cows while competitively inhibiting the growth and colonization of harmful bacteria,thereby improving the health status and performance of dairy cows. In this paper,the functions, mechanisms of action and effects of probiotics in dairy farming were described with the aim of providing a reference for the wide application of probiotics.
