A Brief Discussion on Safety Risk Management of Infant Formula

Abstract: Infant formula is the only or primary source for infants and young children to obtain part or all of the nutrition. Specific formulations should meet different nutritional needs,and ensuring the quality and safety of infant formula is related to the health of the next generation.In this paper,the key risks affecting the safety of infant formula,including the monitoring results of supervision and sampling in recent years,the report of relevant public opinion affairs and potential risks were comprehensively analyzed.Risk control measures were proposed for the entire industrial chain and supervision related links of production enterprises. In order to continuously improve the risk detection ability of infant formula,this paper provided scientific suggestions for promoting food supervision and sampling work and high-quality development of the infant formula industry.
