Treatment and Prevention of Dairy Cow Mastitis

Abstract: As an important disease affecting milk quality and reducing milk yield, cow mastitis has become one of the important diseases restricting the development of dairy industry due to environmental factors,pathogenic microbial infection and many other factors. This paper summarizes the common causes of dairy cow mastitis, analyzes the clinical characteristics and treatment methods of the most acute, acute, chronic and non clinical dairy cow mastitis, and puts forward comprehensive prevention and control suggestions from five aspects:nutrition management, environmental sanitation, milking operation, breast health care and vaccination for peer exchange and reference.
