Investigation and Prevention and Control of Paratuberculosis in Dairy Cow in Seven Large-scale Ranches in Kuitun of Xinjiang

Abstract: [Objective]Providing scientific and effective prevention and control measures for investigating the infection of paratuberculosis in dairy cows in 7 large-scale pastures in Kuitun area of Xinjiang.[Method]This experiment continued to collect blood from long-term and intractable diarrhea cows in 7 pastures in Kuitun area from 2019 to 2021,and used ELISA method to detect paratuberculosis.[Result] The overall positive rate in 2019 was 6.55%(636/9 715),the overall positive rate in 2020 was 6.80% (705/10 375),the overall positive rate in 2021 was 5.23%(615/11 753).[Conclusion] The method of quarantine and elimination has good effect on reducing the positive rate of paratuberculosis in pasture.
