Exploration and Practice of Prevention and Treatment Techniques for Forestomach Diseases in Dairy Cows

Abstract: Forestomach diseases of dairy cows mainly include bovine forestomach atony, rumen accumulation, rumen acidosis, rumen swelling, omasum obstruction, and traumatic reticulogastritis. Most of these forestomach diseases are caused by improper feeding management, which seriously affects the healthy breeding of cows. This article explored the pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, prevention and treatment measures of these forestomach diseases in dairy cows, aiming to promote the innovation and transformation of diagnosis and treatment technology of forestomach diseases, and gradually forming a prevention and treatment system, and providing reference for dairy cow farms in the prevention and control of forestomach diseases.
